Decree Law 196/2003 for the protection of personal information Privacy Statement (Article 13) We inform you that the data collected from you or supplied by third parties shall be used exclusively for commercial, promotional or advertising purposes, as well as operational and statistical aims. Personal data are treated by us in legitimate way, with correctness and maximum privacy. They are registered, organized and saved in paper/electronic files. Data can be communicated by us to our commercial network, to consultants in administrative/commercial areas, to forwarders for deliveries of goods/advertising material and to controlling, controlled and shared companies. We inform you that it is your right to request and obtain what stated in art.13, here attached, of the law mentioned here above. Rights of access to personal information and other rights 1. The party concerned has the right to confirm the existence or not of the personal data regarding him or her, even if not yet recorded, and said information must be sent in an intelligible manner. 2. The person concerned has the right to know: a) the origin of the personal information; b) the aim and mode of its use; c) the logic applied if processed using electronic instruments; d) the identity of the owner, the people responsible and the designated representative pursuant to Article 5, comma 2; e) the parties or category of party to whom the personal data shall be sent or who may be acquainted with the data in the quality of designated representative within the State, people responsible for or entrusted to use the data. 3. The person concerned has the right to have his or her data: a) updated, corrected or integrated; b) deleted, rendered anonymous or blocked, including data that does not need to be archived for the purpose for which it was collected, or subsequently used if the data is used unlawfully; c) furthermore, the person concerned has the right to certification that the parties who receive the data are aware of the operations mentioned in points a) and b) (and their contents), unless it is impossible to do so or if the means required to do so are obviously out of proportion with the safeguarded right. 4. The party concerned has the right to completely or in part raise objections: a) for legitimate reasons against the use of his or her personal data even though pertinent to the aim of the collection; b) against the use of his or her personal data as regards the sending of advertisements or direct sales material or to carry out market research or business communications.
